An amicable solution to Ayodhya, Ram Janmabhumi, Babri Masjid dispute will elude us as long as communal leaders hold sway over the masses. One can only hope that Indian society’s inherent resilience would set things right in its own way. Mr. L.K.Advani’s anguish over the demolition of Babri mosque fails to convince anyone, when his own party has claimed that a historical wrong has been corrected.
Tipu donated Gold for Saraswati idol
Have the advocates of Hindutva forgotten that in 1791 Maratha horsemen carried away a golden Saraswathi idol and melted it to be sold as gold. The idol was donated to Sringeri math by Sultan Tipu of Mysore. Will Advani and company restore the idol to Sringeri math ? Will the numerous Buddist and Jain temples turned into Hindu temples returned to them ?
Mr. Advani and company are responsible not only for the demolition of the three domes of the mosque but also for the desecration and destruction of hundreds if Hindu temples across the sub-continent and the U.K. and for the death of more than one thousand innocent persons in India and for insulting our Constitution, the Supreme Court, and for using Lord Rama’s name for achieving political goals.

Ayodhya crisis cannot be solved unless BJP’s contentions are answered. The Prime Minister P V Narasimharao’s adept handling of the crisis averted a bloodbath at Ayodhya and checked the danger of fragmentation of the country on communal lines.
CATEGORIZATION OF MUSLIMS AS MINORITIES UNSCIENTIFIC
It is now the PM’s responsibility to see that Hindu masses are not swayed by the sadhus.
At the same time the Muslim brethren should be freed from the clutches of their religious leaders. The Muslims’ problems lie not in religion but in their illiteracy and penury. They can be included in the list of Backward Classess as one of the Communities of India and accorded the privileges hitherto enjoyed by only some castes among the Hindus. In that case the government should dispense with the use of Minority community status; after all, the term was coined by the British to divide India on communal lines.
An amicable solution will elude us as long as communal leaders hold sway over the masses. One can only hope that Indian society’s inherent resilience would set things right in its own way.
